SHERIDAN TIHISTA Center Director

Sheridan attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and graduated with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Inclusive Education with an Academic Behavior Strategist licensure and worked as an elementary and special educator. In 2017, she moved to Tampa and accepted a position with Behavior Analysis Support Services while pursuing her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. Sher graduated from the University of South Florida with a 3.9 GPA and obtained her board certification in February 2019. Her experiences go deeper than her education. Sherida grew up alongside her sister, an autistic individual with high-support needs. Growing up in rural Montana created significant barriers for her family to access therapies, which has been the catalyst for Sheridan’s mission to create family-centered programs. Her unique experiences give her insight into the perspective of the family, educator, and clinician, which has supported her passion for creating engaging therapy sessions that promote autistic individuals to be authentic and proud of who they are.
