About
Sara attended Florida State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development. After graduating, she took the BCaBA course sequence at Florida Institute of Technology and received her BCaBA certification. She practiced as a BCaBA for 6 years in Miami, Florida while pursuing her Master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at Kaplan University.
After graduating, she obtained her BCBA certification and moved to Gainesville, Florida to work as a Clinical Supervisor with BASS Autism. Sara has been a BCBA at BASS for 5 years and is now Director of both BASS Gainesville locations. With over 11 years of experience in the field, Sara has developed a passion for early intervention and mentoring newly certified BCBAs. She also enjoys being involved in research with Dr. DeLeon’s lab at the University of Florida and has assisted in presenting research findings at FABA.
