About

Brittany earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida. During that time, she began working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with BASS, and after being introduced to the science of ABA in action, registered for the BCaBA course sequence through the Florida Institute of Technology.

Brittany went on to earn her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida, while working as a supervising BCaBA for BASS. She relocated to Miami to pursue her clinical fellowship as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and earn her master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education, with an emphasis in ABA. She is now one of seven dually certified SLP-BCBAs in the state of Florida, and is dedicated to promoting collaboration between the fields. 

Brittany’s clinical focus is in complex speech sound disorders, AAC assessment and management, and pediatric feeding disorders. She has advanced training and experience with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), utilizing multi-sensory approaches such as Dynamic Tactile Temporal Cueing (DTTC), and oromyofunctional disorders. She also has training in Natural Language Acquisition and Gestalt Processing, common in autisitc individuals who engage in echolalia. Brittany is an on-demand evaluator for Tobii Dynavox products and is trained in the Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) approach. She is also a certified children’s yoga and mindfulness instructor, and appreciates the commitment BASS has to understanding the whole child.
